Welcome to the Gingerbread House Inn! We're delighted to have you as our guest and want to ensure your stay is as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Below, you'll find some helpful guidelines to enhance your experience and maintain the serene ambiance we cherish here.

Breakfast: Dear friends and cherished guests! Let it be known with warmth and joy that our delightful breakfast, once offered for the sum of $14.99 + HST per plate, takes its well-deserved slumber during the Fall and Winter seasons. But lo, be not dismayed! This beloved feast shall rise again, bright and glorious, come June 1st through August 31st, at the splendidly agreeable fare of $9.99. Mark thy calendars and ready thy appetites, for a bounty awaits in the coming summer days!.





Rates:

During summer, weekends, long weekends, and holidays our suites are a minimum of 2 nights.
Full payment is collected two days prior to check-in day.
A security deposit of $500 is preauthorized on your card the day before check-in and released the day after check-out.
All rates are listed based on double occupancy. Extra person $20 + HST.
Children under 12 are free but must be registered in the reservation. Room capacity cannot be exceeded.
Rates do not include 15% HST.


Check-In/Out-Times:

Check-In & Check-Out: Self Check-In: We’ve streamlined the check-in process for your convenience. You will receive an email with the door code for your room. Check-in time begins at 4:00 PM. Check-Out: Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Should you need a bit more time, please be aware of the following: Exceeding the check-out time by more than 30 minutes will incur an additional fee of $50 per room. For check-outs that are an hour or more late, the fee is $100 per room. This ensures we can prepare the space for our next guests in a timely manner. For check-outs exceeding two hours, a full night’s base rate will be charged, and we regret that you will not be allowed to extend your stay even with the additional charge.


Cancellation (Website only):

We offer a flexible cancellation policy.
Full refund if cancellation is made at least 72 hours before check-in on single rooms.
Full refund if cancellation is made at least 30 days before check-in on multiple room/full Inn bookings.


Children:

Children: Room Availability: While we warmly welcome children in most of our rooms, those with hot tubs are reserved for adult guests. We kindly ask you to select one of our child-friendly rooms when making your reservation.


Smoking:

Smoking: Designated Area: We have a designated smoking and vaping area in our front garden in the driveway by the sign (see property map). Kindly dispose of cigarette butts in the provided receptacles. Please note, that smoking marijuana is not permitted anywhere on the property. A cleaning fee and or a smoking fee of $250 to $500 per room will be applied if these guidelines are not adhered to.


Events:

Events & Visitors: No Parties or Unregistered Guests: To maintain the tranquillity of our Inn, parties or events are not permitted. Additionally, only registered guests are allowed on the property. Room occupancy limits must be respected. The owner lives on the property. If there is a party or noise complaint after 10 PM the damage deposit will not be released and the guest(s) be asked to leave the premises, and if necessary, the RCMP will be called.


Room Rules:

When you are using the hot tubs, we ask that you:
not use bath salts or soaps (these can seriously damage the system);
shower beforehand;
run the fan to keep humidity levels low;
If the hot tub requires to be drained, a $100 charge to the security deposit will be made;
keep the tub covered when not in use.
Pets are not allowed on the property. A pet in a room will result in a $250 to $500 charge to the security deposit plus invoiced for any damages and asked to leave the property without refund..
Coasters, tablecloths, and placemats have been provided for your convenience.
No candle burning is allowed in any of our rooms.
Any permanent staining or damage to the linens will incur an extra charge of replacement cost.
Rooms have Google TV to access any of your personal apps. There is no cable in the property.
Please turn off lights and air conditioning when you are not in the room.
Quiet hours are in place between 10 pm and 7 am for the comfort of our guests.
Please note that your reservation includes a single parking spot.
You must have an active phone number that you can be reached on at all times. Failure to have an active phone number will result in a cancelation of your reservation and no refund provided.
For your convenience, cotton pads have been provided for makeup removal.
Please do not share your room code with anyone.
Please remove all personal food items from the fridge before checkout.
